HISTORY
Beloit was founded in 1836 and soon became home to a thriving college, churches, mills, and more. During its rich history, Beloit has played roles in the Underground Railroad, the Industrial Revolution, and in meeting the production demands of WWII. Beloit College is a cornerstone of the community and offers more than 50 majors.
